Practice Lessons    7:45 PM
At your request, we have changed the practice lessons to this new, earlier time so more of you can take advantage of them. We've also added more of them and scheduled them on different days for the most flexible scheduling possible. If you don't use it you lose it so no more excuses--we expect to see y'all there!

Practice what you're learning on your lessons in a social situation and meet others who share the same joys and frustrations of the learning process, before you go out in public and try that latest step! Although open to all levels of dancers, the practice parties are geared toward beginners in that we announce with every song what type of dance to do. For everyone at any level, the instructors are all on hand to help out, dance with and answer questions.

Spotlight Parties
  A party with pizzazz at the Blue Moon Ballroom! Besides all the usual dancing and fun, you'll get to see a mini-showcase of students and teachers "test drive" routines they are preparing for competitions and shows. 

After Dark Party     8:30 - 10:00
Once a month we take the party out on the town and go dancing as a group. We hit a variety of different places so you get used to dancing in a variety of social settings to lots of different types of music and just like the practice lessons, the instructors are all on hand to help out, dance with and answer questions. "Share the Experience" Guest Parties     7:45 PM
All students are welcome at these parties--just bring someone with you who is new to the studio and may be interested in learning to dance. Refreshments are served and a mini-show will entertain you and your friends! If you are having a great time at the studio, share the experience with others in your life. Your friends get a special deal and you earn free lessons when they try the Introductory Special! Everyone secretly wishes they were a better dancer and we could all use a little more of the joy in our lives that dancing brings.  Introducing your friends to the studio is the highest compliment you can pay your teacher!

(*A qualified guest is at least 21 years old, lives in the area, has never been a student in our studio before, pays for their own Introductory Special and takes both private lessons of it, and has a sincere interest in learning to dance. Guest who do not meet these criteria may still be eligible to earn you free lessons--check with the studio for exceptions.)

 Dance Clinic and Seminar

Turbo charge your learning rate! Come to learn lots and have lots of fun! Get personalized, detailed feedback from a member of the National Dance Council as well as take-home material that is a powerful ongoing learning tool. Includes:
-- Two Seminars (smooth & rhythm technique) with Council member
-- Audio of verbal feedback from Council member as you dance your entries
 -- Video of Dance Clinic
-- Lunch and beverages
--Priority scheduling of individual Master Classes
with Council member for individual feedback

Confi-Dance Team Match

This event is for NEW STUDENTS ONLY! If you've taken more than six months of lessons you're not allowed to play. Join us for an hour-and-a-half of craziness & FUN (plus some dancing, too). Dance one (or 2 or 6) for the team! Improve all your dances in one shot, build your "confi-dance" and get to know other new students (who, by the way, feel just as much like Frankenstein as you do at this point!). We'll have a dance relay race, a Jack & Jill dance and other fun activities. Will Team Top Hat win again or will Team Singin' in the Rain take the title back?
