Congratulations to Fred Astaire professional Tony Dovolani and his celebrity partner, Melissa Rycroft from The Bachelor, who made it all the way the the finals and came in third this season! They will make an appearance along with other professionals from the show at the Astaire Awards Championships, a national competition held in July in Chicago where our instructors will be competing in the professional divisions. YOUTH CLASSES! Social--Competition--Performance
Guys--Prom is coming up! Do you get sweaty palms just thinking about having to dance? Dads--Make that father/daughter dance a special memory for your little girl! Moms--Would you like your pre-teens to learn to respect and be comfortable with the opposite gender as they approach school dances and dating? Learn social dancing at our Parent/Child class on Fridays at 5:30 PM or our youth classes on Mondays at 4 PM for ages 6-11 and 5 PM for ages 12 and up. We also offer a Performance Class for more advanced high school students Wednesdays at 5:30. Young people will learn a variety of ballroom, latin and swing dances as well as social and dance etiquette. You and your children will appreciate the relaxed, friendly atmosphere--the principal of the largest high school in Rochester is even a student here!
